#UnsichtbaresLeid (Invisible Suffering) is a campaign to raise awareness of the problems faced by active and former soldiers and #Veterans of the #Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of their service – and the strain this places on their families.
This short film impressively shows the perspective of affected soldiers and veterans.
The four short films in the campaign provide a personal and emotional insight into the inner lives of people living with the psychological consequences of foreign deployments – deliberately not in the form of a traditional report, but as a subjective narrative. Partners and children also have their say.
The campaign was organised by Angriff auf die Seele e. V. The films were produced in collaboration with the German Hardship Foundation, the Catholic Family Foundation and the German Armed Forces Psychotrauma Centre. Production: C3 Creative Code and Content GmbH.
On 13 June 2024, #UnsichtbaresLeid was awarded the German Brand Award 2024 in the category „Excellent Brands: Non-Governmental Organisations & Public Affairs“ excellent.
