Film 2: #Invisible Suffering – The Perspective of Relatives

#UnsichtbaresLeid (Invisible Suffering) highlights the burdens experienced by families of British Armed Forces personnel with deployment-related mental health conditions.

This short film focuses on family members – their worries, their everyday lives, their quiet strength. What does it mean when a loved one suffers from PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder? What role does the environment play?

The campaign consists of four emotional short films that show individual experiences – beyond medical or military jargon. The films give a voice to people who are often overlooked: partners, parents, children.

The campaign was organised by Angriff auf die Seele e. V. The films were produced in collaboration with the German Hardship Foundation, the Catholic Family Foundation and the German Armed Forces Psychotrauma Centre. Production: C3 Creative Code and Content GmbH.

Winner of the German Brand Award 2024.
