Psychological Service of the German Armed Forces

The Psychological Service of the German Armed Forces (PsychDstBw) is responsible for providing psychological support to Bundeswehr soldiers in basic operations and on deployment. He is also responsible for psychological measures aimed at preventing psychological damage during deployment or treating and supporting those who have suffered damage during deployment. This includes, among other things, assisting in the preparation and follow-up of foreign deployments, providing expert advice and support in the country of deployment, and providing psychological counselling to family members in the home country.
