Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists (BPTK)
The Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists is the umbrella organisation for the state chambers of psychotherapists in Germany. It represents the interests of psychological psychotherapists and child and adolescent psychotherapists at the federal level. The BPtK is committed to quality assurance in psychotherapeutic care and the further development of the profession. It prepares statements on health policy issues and contributes psychotherapeutic expertise to legislative processes. It also provides information on professional regulations, further training and current developments in the health care system. The BPtK also acts as a point of contact for politicians, the media and professional associations.
