National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV)
The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) is the central organisation for contracted doctors and psychotherapists in Germany. It represents their interests in dealings with politicians, health insurance funds and the public. The KBV organises outpatient medical care within the framework of statutory health insurance (GKV). It also negotiates fees and regulations for medical remuneration. It develops and ensures quality standards for medical care. In addition, the KBV supports doctors and psychotherapists with digital solutions and practice information.
It offers a nationwide search for all doctors and psychotherapists practising in Germany.
