Donation handover at the annual reception of the Leipzig Training Command 2023

On Thursday, 26 January 2023, the annual reception of the Army Training Command took place at the General Olbricht Barracks in Leipzig.

Major General Michael Hochwart, commander of the training command, invited our chairman, Staff Sergeant Frank Eggen.

The command in Leipzig had collected a donation of EUR 3,000 for Angriff auf die Seele e. V. at the 2022 end-of-year party, and the annual reception provided the setting for the cheque presentation, among other things.

Staff Sergeant Eggen expressed his heartfelt thanks to all donors and organisers of this campaign. He emphasised the need for psychosocial support for soldiers and their families in these turbulent times. A total of €6,000 was raised, with half going to the association „Freundeskreis der Bundeswehr Leipzig e. V.“ and half to „Angriff auf die Seele – Psychosoziale Hilfe für Angehörige der Bundeswehr e. V.“.

In addition to numerous members of the German Armed Forces, a wide variety of representatives from the civilian public in Leipzig also took part.
