Podcast For Safety's Sake, Episode 31: Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
„Sicherheitshalber“ (Just to be on the safe side) is a podcast about the security situation in Germany, Europe and the world. In episode 31 of the podcast, Chairman Frank Eggen is a guest of Thomas Wiegold, Ulrike Franke, Frank Sauer and Carlo Masala. He has been campaigning on behalf of soldiers traumatised in the line of duty since 2007.
Frank Eggen explains to the four podcasters the background and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder that some soldiers experience during foreign deployments and how the German Armed Forces has – in the meantime – adapted to this reality.
In the second part of the podcast, Nord Stream 2 is the focus of discussion.
